Educational visits are an everyday part of school life and we make it as easy as we can for everyone involved. Our vehicles are all subjected to an inspection every six weeks to ensure they are running to VOSA (Vehicle & Operator Services Agency) regulations and current legislation. Our vehicles are all clean, environmentally friendly, air conditioned, have CD players, DVD players, toilet facilities (49 seat vehicles only).

This involves the awareness of Physical Disabilities, Sensory Impairment or Restriction, Learning Difficulties, Emotional or Behavioural Difficulties, Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, Dementia and Mental or Emotional Distress.

Our Company Manager is a qualified Passenger Assistance Training Scheme (PATS) & Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) trainer who can deliver his course in house from our first floor training centre.
We are approved Special Educational Needs Transport suppliers for Croydon Council, Lambeth Council, Oxfordshire County Council, Slough Council, Hillingdon Council, Surrey County Council and Bexley & Bromley Council.
We can operate "Home to School Transport" on a contractual basis and some schools already benefit by using Mayday Travel for their "Swimming" and "After Schools activities".

We are also able to train people in PAT's and MIDAS which is the safe boarding and alighting from vehicles for wheelchair users. It includes the passenger assistants legal duties, the passenger assistants main duties, assisting the driver, health and safety awareness, manual handling awareness, safety on longer journey's, emergency procedures and contingency plans, passenger awareness, passenger assistance, the safe boarding and alighting from vehicles, safety for passengers who use wheelchairs in vehicles, passenger assistance care and supervision, mobility aids and special seating for children and safety harnesses including additional equipment.
